The library provides Python agnostic way for communication with OData services. Thus, no pre-compilation of the service’s metadata is needed. PyOdata currently supports ODataV2. I am implementing the support for ODataV4 as well as maintaining the ODataV2 version. PyOdata used LXML as a backend for parsing XML.
